Entry Level Graphics Design & Production (In-Office)

Job Description

We are looking to fill a part-time, in-office position supporting both graphic design and production operations for a growing apparel brand. The role focuses on turning design concepts into production-ready and categorized artwork to be handed off to our printers and/or web designers. This is an online retail company; all products will be listed on our site and will require website artwork as well. Web design & order fulfillment are handled by other departments and will not be part of your tasks.

You will develop real-world experience in both digital design and structured business operations with a strong understanding that the two go hand in hand. Training will be provided, but creativity, attention to detail, organization, and willingness to learn are required.

Summary: Entry level does not mean unexperienced. We need someone with solid graphic artist skills in Adobe already in their back pocket ready to go. The rest is trainable.

Job Requirements
Graphically: 80%
- *SOLID* skills with Adobe tools. Working familiarity with MS Office tools.
- *MUST-MUST* be able to adapt artwork design style to meet practical garment production requirements including: printer limitations, transparency and opacity, garment constraints
- Able to create production/print ready artwork from raw concepts and/or existing templates
- Work and interact with a design team with creative input and an open mind
Operations: 20%
- Maintain and organize files/folders with current consistent structure
- Support and create production workflow tasks (design, documenting, integration)
- Assisting with general administrative and organizational tasks

Additional Requirements
- Must be able to work in-person at our office location with reliable transportation
- Maintain a clean anti-allergen and anti-odor environment
- Interest in graphic design, production, and/or apparel industry preferred
