About Us At Inventory IQ, we proudly provide physical inventory services and perpetual inventory guidance to independent pharmacies across the United States. Our team is highly respected in the industry, and we are looking for high-energy, motivated individuals to help us continue making a positive impact on independent pharmacy as a whole!

The Role We are seeking a self-motivated problem solver with a great work ethic to join our team as an Inventory Specialist. In this entry-level role, you will travel nationwide alongside our high-energy team to provide hands-on inventory services. A typical day involves traveling to a client's site, physically counting inventory, and inputting data into the customer’s pharmacy data management system.

Beyond just counting, you will provide valuable advice and best practices to our customers, guiding them on how much of each SKU they should keep on their shelves to best prepare them for their patients’ needs.

What You’ll Do:

  • Travel extensively with your team (Monday–Friday) to independent pharmacies across the country.
  • Perform accurate physical inventory counts.
  • Input inventory data seamlessly into various pharmacy data management systems.
  • Advise customers on perpetual inventory best practices and SKU management.
  • Directly impact the success of dozens of pharmacies each year by optimizing their inventory processes.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Must be willing to relocate to the Birmingham, AL area.
  • Must be willing and able to travel up to 80% of the time (Monday–Friday). * A phenomenal attitude—this is the number one predictor of success on our team!
  • A strong, dependable work ethic and a desire to build a great career in the independent pharmacy space.
  • Strong basic math skills and excellent people/customer service skills.
  • Pharmacy Technician experience is a plus, but certainly not required for the right candidate.

Growth & Opportunity At Inventory IQ, hard work and a willingness to learn are rewarded. Because of our continued growth in perpetual inventory and consulting services, there is plenty of room for upward mobility. A typical growth track for a dedicated Inventory Specialist sees them moving into a Team Leader position within 12 to 24 months. If you are eager to learn new skills from our experienced team members, we will provide the tools you need to build a lasting career.
