Entry Level Logistics - Freight Forwarder (AT)

A freight forwarder near the SeaTac Airport is expanding its operations team. You will assist with cargo shipments entering the US.

This is an office position from Monday to Friday (8:00 AM to 5:00 PM).

There is no PTO available during the 6-month contract period. This is a 6-month temp-to-hired contract to start before you become directly hired.

After you complete the 3-month probation period, you will be able to join our group insurance (Medical / Dental / Vision) if needed.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the movement of shipments/cargo
• Schedule and track Ocean and Air cargo, and resolve any issues that may arise
• Inventory management
• Analyze costs in transportation and prepare invoices
• Prepare and process all required documents
• Support other departments
• Other duties as assigned by managers

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management, International Business, Asian Studies, or any related field
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, with strong skill in using Excel
• Knowledge of logistic procedures is beneficial
• Ability to multitask and accurate in data entry
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
