Entry Level Medical Assistant

A growing orthopedic practice in Suffolk County is seeking a motivated, entry-level Medical Assistant to join our team. This is a great opportunity for individuals with strong customer service experience who are looking to start a career in healthcare. We are willing to train the right candidate.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and room patients in a professional and friendly manner
• Assist providers with patient flow and basic clinical tasks
• Prepare exam rooms and maintain a clean, organized environment
• Obtain and document patient information, including vital signs (training provided)
• Support front desk duties as needed, including scheduling and phone communication

Qualifications:

• Prior customer service experience required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Interest in orthopedics and healthcare preferred
• Willingness to learn and be trained on clinical responsibilities
