Job Title: Entry Level Product Compliance Engineer
Location: Bradenton, FL
Base Salary Rate: $67,741-$79,695
Job type: Full-time

About this role
We are seeking hardworking individuals who takes pride in developing products that save people’s lives! In addition, you will enjoy close collaboration with like-minded teams focused on protecting customers and delivering business goals to advance our future success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Help implement process improvements and projects to increase team productivity.
  • Perform compliance assessments for certification of products.
  • Work with 3rd party laboratories to coordinate project submittals for testing and certification.
  • Provide sales and technical support for regulatory related questions and requirements.
  • Plan, assign, and direct work to the team in cooperation with the manager to manage workload and projects.
  • Manage information and applicable supporting documents, including compliance certificates, vendor DoCs and other applicable documents for product registration, in different compliance databases.
  • Maintain knowledge of applicable standards and changes to the standards, such as UL 217, NFPA 72, etc.
  • Manage both internal and external customer requests, which includes the preparation and provision of compliance certificates and technical assistance on substance-based regulations.
  • Works autonomously with limited oversight while managing large and complex projects and process improvements.
  • Professionally communicate with parties within and outside of the compliance department, serving as a strong representative for our team and company.
Basic Qualifications
  • BS Engineering from an ABET accredited college or university with a focus on electrical engineering or computer science engineering.
  • 1+ years of experience in the regulatory and environmental compliance field.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Innovative out-of-box thinker with a high aptitude and preference for data collection and analysis automation
  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft suite of collaborative tools such as Sharepoint, PowerBi, and Power Automate
  • Knowledge of PDXpert, Oracle, and/or Jira
Compensation and Benefits
Individuals may be eligible for an annual performance bonus based on both individual and company’s performance. The final compensation for this position will be set based on the individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience as it relates to the job requirements.
