Ready to break into the renewable energy industry and build a real career with growth, travel, and purpose? The Skyward Program by ENSA North America, a division of Mallory Safety & Supply, is your fast track into the wind energy workforce.

This is not a traditional school program. Skyward is a job-first training pipeline, meaning you are matched with an employer before you ever begin training. Once selected, you’ll complete a 15-day hands-on training course and transition directly into full-time work as an Entry-Level Wind Technician.

What You’ll Do as an Entry-Level Wind Technician:

  • Climb wind turbine towers safely using certified fall protection equipment
  • Perform inspections, maintenance, and basic troubleshooting on turbine systems
  • Work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions
  • Follow strict safety procedures and teamwork protocols
  • Travel frequently for project assignments
  • Support senior technicians and site supervisors

All required skills are taught during the Skyward training course.

Who We’re Looking For:

  • No prior wind industry experience is required. We are looking for individuals who are:
  • Motivated to begin a career in wind energy
  • Physically capable of climbing, lifting, and working at heights
  • Willing to travel and work outdoors
  • Reliable, safety-minded, and eager to learn
  • Able to pass required employer screenings
  • Authorized to work in the United States

If you bring the drive, we will provide the training.

Program Selection Process:

As part of the Skyward pipeline, selected candidates will:

  • Complete an initial screening call
  • Submit required documents including ID, application, brief essay, and skills and safety assessment
  • Participate in a Skyward screening interview
  • Interview directly with a hiring wind employer
  • Accept a job offer before training begins
  • Attend the full 15-day Skyward training course

All steps follow established Skyward recruiting and documentation procedures to ensure safety, quality, and success.

Compensation and Benefits May Include:

  • Competitive hourly pay or salary depending on employer

Schedule:

  • Training consists of 15 consecutive days
  • Total program timeline is approximately 30 days from application to full-time employment
  • Full-time work begins immediately after graduation
