Duties

• Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges with speed and precision
• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting shoppers, answering questions, and resolving concerns promptly
• Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits, encouraging customer engagement and sales
• Assist with merchandising efforts by organizing displays, stocking shelves, and maintaining attractive product layouts
• Handle cash transactions responsibly, ensuring accurate cash handling and balancing registers at shift end
• Upsell products by identifying customer needs and recommending relevant items to enhance their shopping experience
• Maintain knowledge of store products, promotions, and policies to support effective retail sales and customer interactions

Requirements

• Previous cashiering experience or familiarity with POS systems is preferred but not required; training will be provided
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers in a friendly, professional manner
• Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse customer needs effectively
• Experience supervising or leading a team is advantageous for those interested in growth opportunities
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and retail math calculations accurately
• Knowledge of grocery store operations or retail sales environments is beneficial
• Excellent phone etiquette for handling inquiries or customer concerns over the phone or in person

Pay: From $13.00 per hour
