Enumerator – WASH in Healthcare Facilities (HCF) Rapid Assessment

Qualification & Relevant Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Environmental Studies, Social Sciences, Development Studies, or a related field.
• Prior experience in field data collection, especially in WASH, health, or community development projects.
• Understanding of data quality principles (completeness, accuracy, consistency, reliability).
• Basic knowledge of data validation, skip logic, and numeric checks.
• Familiarity with using Google Forms and Google Drive for data entry and upload.
• Ability to conduct structured observations and fill paper-based tools neatly and legibly.
• Strong interpersonal skills; able to engage respectfully with healthcare staff.
• Must be based in or willing to stay in Lodhran for the entire duration of fieldwork.
• Willingness to travel extensively in rural areas under field conditions.

Job Description:

• Participate in pre-assessment training to understand the assessment tool, data quality protocols and digital submission procedures.
• Conduct field visits to assigned healthcare facilities in Lodhran to administer the paper-based WASH in HCF Rapid Assessment Tool.
• Collect information through interviews, observations, and physical verification in collaboration with facility in-charges and staff.
• Ensure completeness and clarity of each form before leaving the facility.
• Apply built-in data validation rules and logic checks to minimize errors during data collection.
• Tag and take required photographs of WASH infrastructure and ensure proper naming conventions.
• Daily review all completed forms and verify accuracy before submission.
• Upload the verified data into Google Forms or Google Sheets as per the standard process.
• Flag and document any data anomalies, inconsistencies, or missing fields for corrective action.
• Maintain proper organization of forms and photograph files linked to their respective facility IDs.
• Ensure confidentiality and ethical handling of all information collected.
