M.Tech in Environment 5-7 years of relevant experience Key Competencies
Strong expertise in
EIA (Environmental Impact Assessment) and
EMP (Environmental Management Plan) Experience in
ecological and biodiversity studies Thorough understanding of
Indian environmental legislation, policies, and regulatory frameworks Familiarity with
environmental safeguard requirements of multilateral funding agencies such as
World Bank, ADB, and JICA Roles & Responsibilities
Preparation of
Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) reports and
Environmental Management Plans (EMP) for multidisciplinary infrastructure projects such as: Solid Waste Management Water Supply & Sewerage Roads & Highways Metro / Urban Transport Other industrial and urban development projects Conducting
ecological and biodiversity assessments, including field studies and baseline surveys Performing
Initial Environmental Examination (IEE) and supporting
EMP implementation and supervision for externally funded projects (WB / ADB / JICA etc.) Supporting statutory and regulatory compliance processes, including: Consent to Establish (CtE) Consent to Operate (CtO) Environmental monitoring and reporting to pollution control authorities Coordination with multidisciplinary project teams, regulatory bodies, clients, and external stakeholders
