
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering; certifications or training in ISO 14001 Environmental Management System, ISO 50001, and/or ISO 45001 are preferred.

Minimum 3 years of experience in environmental management within manufacturing facilities, preferably in the automotive or motorcycle industry.

Knowledge of environmental regulations and permitting processes, including Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA), emission and discharge permits, temporary activity certificates, environmental permits/licenses, waste management, and environmental reporting systems.

Experience with wastewater treatment, stack emissions, noise monitoring, VOC/SVOC management, and chemical management processes, with the ability to analyze monitoring data and prepare trend reports.

Strong analytical and improvement-oriented mindset, with experience in root cause analysis, risk assessment, and process improvement.

Proficiency in MS Office applications; experience with Power BI is considered an advantage.

Experience in supplier and contractor coordination and audits, with strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in field operations.

Valid Class B driver’s license and willingness to adapt to field work and operational schedules when required.
Job Responsibilities
-
Establish, implement, and maintain the ISO 14001 Environmental Management System, support internal audits and external inspections, and ensure closure of non-conformities through corrective action plans.

Manage and follow up environmental permits, licenses, and regulatory reporting processes, ensuring timely and accurate submissions through environmental information systems.

Coordinate waste management processes, including waste classification, temporary storage, labeling, documentation, and coordination with licensed recycling and disposal contractors.

Monitor and report environmental performance indicators, including water and energy consumption, wastewater treatment efficiency, emission and discharge measurements, VOC usage, and waste/recycling rates, while tracking environmental KPIs and targets.

Ensure chemical management compliance, including SDS control, REACH and SEVESO regulatory checks, substitution initiatives, and warehouse/site compliance inspections.

Conduct site inspections, environmental impact assessments, and environmental awareness trainings, and support the management of environmental incidents such as odor, noise, and emission-related complaints.
