Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Manager to support safety, environmental compliance, and employee training within our company. This role is responsible for maintaining safe operations, managing chemical and tank systems, and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain facility safety and environmental programs.
• Conduct safety inspections, audits, and incident investigations.
• Manage chemical storage systems, plating tanks, and hazardous materials handling.
• Ensure compliance with regulations from agencies such as the Occupational Safety and Health Administration and the Environmental Protection Agency.
• Coordinate safety training programs for employees and contractors.
• Oversee hazardous waste handling, labeling, and disposal procedures.
• Maintain safety documentation, permits, and regulatory reports.
• Serve as the point of contact for city and regulatory inspections.
• Support emergency preparedness, spill response, and evacuation procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of EHS experience in manufacturing, aerospace, or chemical processing.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations, hazardous materials handling, and environmental compliance.
• Completion of OSHA 30-Hour General Industry training.
• Strong communication, training, and organizational skills.

• Certified Safety Professional (CSP)
