We are looking for a Hydrologist to help drive our agency towards accomplishing our vision. We need our Hydrogeologists to be versatile and forward thinking about tackling problems, to think about problem solving “thinking outside the box” and have a combination of passion and technical skills for continuous improvement. If you get excited about problem solving and aren’t daunted by the challenge of building something from scratch, then our team might be your next step.
As a member of a creative, motivated and talented team, you will be assisting the Groundwater Reclamation and Reuse Section - Individual Permits Unit to assist in processing Aquifer Protection Program (APP) permits, ensuring APP permit holders are addressing revised Aquifer Water Quality Standards, review of data from APP and ensure APP permit holders are addressing compliance schedule items. Conducts risk analyses of groundwater vulnerability including evaluation, costing and implementation of site remediation in the State of Arizona.
This position is available for remote work on a full-time basis within Arizona (including virtual office arrangements).
