Environmental Professional

T. Baker Smith, LLC is seeking an Environmental Professional with the desire to learn, grow, and develop their professional skill sets, be invested as part of a team, and contribute to their community. This position will focus our natural resources and coastal efforts in Texas.

Your Opportunity:

• Collaborate, learn, and grow yourself with other motivated, professional associates as part of a team supporting communities and clients.
• Assist in the development and coordination of environmental projects.
• Conduct fieldwork for wetland delineations, threatened and endangered species surveys, due diligence, site studies, and other environmental field activities.
• Prepare the deliverables for projects as part of an integrated team.
• Review technical reports and provide technical recommendations.
• Coordinate the technical aspects of a variety of environmental and regulatory services.
• Contact government agencies or private consultants to obtain information for studies.
• Participate in proposal development as part of the business development process.
• Achieve the scope, budget, and schedule of the project under the direction of the project.
• Maintain current knowledge of equipment, techniques, procedures, and regulations.
• Assist TBS’ Environmental Discipline to continue to improve and utilize innovative technology.
• Participate in professional development and training.

Desired Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor of Science Degree or M.S. in environmental science, coastal or marine science, biology, forestry, or similar field.
• Ability to relate to clients and people at all levels of the organization and must possess excellent communication and diplomacy skills.
