Environmental Scientist

Join our team at Potesta & Associates, Inc., a leading environmental and engineering consulting firm, as an Entry-Level Scientist specializing in permitting and regulatory compliance. In this role, you will support our projects by assisting with permitting processes, ensuring regulatory compliance, and contributing to environmental assessments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing permit applications for various environmental regulations.
• Conduct research and analysis to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal environmental regulations.
• Support project managers in coordinating with regulatory agencies and stakeholders.
• Participate in field assessments and data collection activities.
• Contribute to environmental impact assessments and mitigation strategies.
• Prepare reports, presentations, and other deliverables for clients and regulatory agencies.
• Stay updated on changes in environmental regulations and best practices.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in an environmental discipline.
• Ability to interpret local, state, and federal environmental standards and requirements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Excellent analytical and research skills.
