We are looking for an Environmental Specialist who supports the execution of HUGO BOSS’s environmental targets by driving high‑quality environmental data management, structured supplier follow‑up, and continuous regulatory awareness across the supply chain. The role focuses on translating environmental data, targets, and regulatory requirements into measurable supplier actions and transparent reporting, with a strong emphasis on accountability, accuracy, and execution.
What you can expect:
Analyze and validate
end-to-end supplier environmental impact data to identify critical hotspots and high-impact intervention areas.Strengthen decision-making
by translating complex analyses into data-driven strategic inputs for governance and prioritization.Lead the implementation
of decarbonization roadmaps through structured supplier communication and clear requirement setting.Monitor and track
supplier performance on coal phase-out, renewable energy transition, and resource efficiency milestones.Drive accountability
through structured follow-ups, managing risks and ensuring adherence to sustainability targets.Ensure high-quality reporting
(Scope 3.1) with a rigorous focus on data accuracy and end-to-end traceability.Proactively monitor
global environmental legislation and climate-related regulations, translating insights into actionable business strategies.
Your profile:
Education & Professional Experience
Sustainability, Environmental Sciences, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering
, or a comparable field.5 years of professional experience
, preferably within an Environmental Sustainability or Impact function in the fashion/apparel supply chain.leading data-driven supplier engagement
and cross-functional sustainability projects.Professional & Personal Skills
Analytical Mindset:
Ability to translate complex datasets into strategic, value-creating insights.Process Excellence:
Knowledge of data automation and workflow optimization tools (Dashboards, automated collection, etc.).Execution Focus:
High attention to detail with a structured, follow-through-oriented working style.Communication:
Clear and confident communicator, skilled in international stakeholder management and supplier negotiations.
