This is a temporary position and there are no leave or retirement benefits offered with this position. This temporary position is located in Raleigh - Wake County.


Job Order Hourly Rate of Pay: $22.00 (Based on education and/or years of relevant work experience reflected on the application).


This temporary position will be assigned to the Department of Natural and Cultural Resources. This position is located at 121 W Jones St, Raleigh, NC 27601.

This position will use taxonomic identification procedures to conduct natural area inventories; establish survey plots; identify and facilitate protection of rare plants and animals; map and enter information in databases; interpret scientific data; recommend protection strategies.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements

Bachelor's degree in one of the agricultural, biological, engineering, environmental or natural resource sciences or a closely related curriculum from an appropriately accredited institution; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
