Environmental System Operations & Maintenance Technician

• Hands-on work is required.

• Proven experience in construction, industrial, or in a similar role (Required)

• Proven familiarity working with PLCs, HMIs, and telemetry (Required)
• Availability to travel regularly to different sites. (Required)

• Proven record of team collaboration that solve complex problems. (Preferred)
• Effective communication and computational skills (Preferred)
• Initiative to build own career and success. (Preferred)
• Ability to apply analytical and critical thinking skills. (Preferred)
• Writing and excellent verbal communication skills (Preferred)
• A positive attitude and willingness to work overtime when required. (Required)
• Computer and technological skills (Preferred)
• Pass Background checks as needed. (Required)
• Be able to obtain and maintain any clearance necessary for the site or client. (Required)
• Equipment operation (Preferred)
• Operate a motor vehicle and have a driving record in good standing in accordance with Tetra Tech policy. (Required)
• Possess a mode of transport (Required)

This position requires the candidate to be a U.S. Citizen due to the projects they will be working on.

• Trips to project site locations
• Walk over uneven surfaces and potentially up/down steps or hills.
• Work outdoors in extreme weather conditions for up to 8-12 hours per day
• Lift and carry equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Navigation of noisy areas
• Use any and all hand tools required for task.
• Sitting or standing for extended periods

• This position will require travel by car or by air; anticipated to be approximately 25%. Some trips will require multiple overnight stays.
• Outdoors in extreme weather conditions for up to 8-12 hours per day
• Indoors in a fabrication shop
• Occasional office work

Language & Communication Skills:

• Must be fully fluent in the English language - (speaking, writing, and comprehension)

Mathematical Skills:

• The candidate must possess mathematical skills to perform calculations and have discussions with Engineers.

Other Skills:

• Must be able to perform daily operations using Microsoft Windows applications – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Teams is desirable, but not required.
• Familiarity with Adobe Acrobat is also desirable, but not required.
