Overview:
The Instructional Designer II plays a key role in creating impactful learning experiences that support a remarkable patient journey. This position designs, develops, and delivers innovative education strategies using diverse formats such as instructor-led training, virtual learning, and computer-based modules.
Schedule: 8:00AM – 5:00PM (On call support required, as needed).
Location: Remote (Virginia; North Carolina; South Carolina; or Georgia only)
Department: EPIC Training
Key Responsibilities:

Analyze education needs and design blended learning solutions for assigned EPIC application(s).

Master EPIC application functionality and organization-specific workflows for your application area.

Build, test, and maintain training environments, including practice exercises and simulations.

Develop engaging instructional materials that align with adult learning principles and organizational goals.

Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure training supports operational excellence and patient experience.
Ideal Candidate:

Experience in instructional design and adult learning methodologies.

Strong understanding of EPIC applications and healthcare workflows (preferred).

Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver high-quality training solutions.
Reporting Relationship:
Reports to the Dimensions Training Manager
What We're Looking For:
- Education: 2 Year / Associate Degree, required. 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred.

Experience: Minimum three years of experience in healthcare, training, or education, required.

Licensure/Certification:
-
Must obtain Epic certification(s) AFTER employment, must obtain each Epic certification(s) initially assigned within 6 months, required.

Training Environment Proficiency. Obtain AFTER employment, must obtain within 6 months., required.
