The Epic Endoscopy Analyst plays a key role in providing the highest quality of patient care while the patient is in at Union Health.


The Epic Endoscopy Analyst is responsible for supporting the configuration, optimization, and maintenance of the Epic Lumens module, which manages gastrointestinal (GI) procedure documentation, scheduling, and workflow. This role partners with gastroenterologists, nursing staff, and IT teams to ensure efficient and compliant endoscopy workflows that enhance patient care.

EPIC Endoscopy Analyst Details

Essential Job Duties:

  • Collaborate with GI clinicians, nursing, and administrative teams to gather requirements and translate them into system configurations.
  • Configure and optimize Epic Lumens workflows, including procedure scheduling, documentation, order entry, and results reporting.
  • Support integration with other Epic modules (such as scheduling, billing, and clinical documentation) and external endoscopy systems.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of endoscopy workflows to inform system design and optimize clinical practice.
  • Seeking, logically examining, and interpreting information from different sources to determine a problem's cause and developing a course of action to resolve the problem and to prevent its recurrence
  • The ability to persevere in difficult situations, overcome obstacles, and reach high levels of performance when faced with stressful work situations and time pressures

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Epic Lumens Certification
