Epicor ERP - Functional Consultant

Job Overview:

As an Epicor ERP Functional Consultant, your primary responsibility will be to provide expertise and guidance on utilizing the Epicor ERP system to meet a client's business requirements. You will work closely with clients on the project managers, and technical teams to gather user requirements, analyze processes, and configure the Epicor system accordingly. Additionally, you will provide user training, support system testing, and assist in post-implementation activities.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in information systems, computer science, or a related field.
  
• Strong knowledge and experience with Epicor ERP system, preferably in multiple modules.
  
• Proven experience as an Epicor Functional Consultant or similar role, working on ERP implementation projects.
  
• Proficient in Epicor configuration and customization tools such as Epicor Administration Console, BPM, and Crystal Reports.
  
• Sound understanding of business processes and ability to translate user requirements into system functionalities.
  
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify gaps and suggest effective solutions.
  
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients and cross-functional teams.
  
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities within project timelines.
  
• A solid understanding of project management methodologies and practices.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with clients to understand their business processes and system requirements.
  
• Conduct system analysis and gap-fit analysis to identify areas where customization or configuration may be required.
  
• Configure and customize the Epicor ERP system based on client requirements using tools like Epicor Administration Console and BPM.
  
• Develop detailed functional specifications and documentation for system modifications or enhancements.
  
• Provide end-user training and support during system implementation and post-implementation phases.
  
• Assist in creating test plans, test scripts, and conducting system testing to ensure the accuracy and effectiveness of the implemented solutions.
  
• Address and troubleshoot system issues and provide timely resolutions to ensure smooth system operation.
  
• Collaborate with technical teams to communicate business requirements and facilitate system changes or enhancements.
  
• Stay updated with the latest Epicor ERP functionalities, trends, and best practices and provide recommendations for process improvements.
  
• Participate in project meetings, communicate progress and challenges to stakeholders, and provide regular status reports.
