Equation Specialist – Finastra

Strong hands‑on experience in Equation support, IBM iSeries or AS400 administration, and the ability to handle L2 issues independently. (MUST)

Proficiency in SQL database administration. (MUST)

Equation business functionalities or functional-side requirements such as product setup, parameter configuration, or business process alignment will be required. (MUST)

Key Deliverables

• Ensure all Equations processes are up and running.
• Solve equation cases and log cases to Misys portal.
• Test and install new patches.
• Look for new services and modules.
• Manage the upgrades.
• Manage the parameters.
• Support end of day cycle.
• Extract data for third parties’ solutions
• Provide reports/files when needed.
• Build new units.
• Support all IT departments from core banking side.
• Ensue all related activities are in accordance with bank’s policies, procedures, and standards.
• Participate in other related initiatives and projects as assigned or other duties as assigned by management.
