Position: Equipment Installation Engineer
Location: San Antonio, Texas
Duration: ASAP start Minimum 6 months (strong possibility of extension)

Job Overview:
Our client is seeking an experienced Equipment Installation Engineer with a minimum of five (5) years' experience in capital project equipment delivery within a cGMP Pharmaceutical environment. The role involves coordinating the storage, installation, start-up, troubleshooting, commissioning, and qualification of laboratory-related equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and coordinate vendors and internal departments to ensure timely equipment delivery and installation.

• Prepare, collect, and review required support documentation, including change control paperwork, commissioning/qualification protocols, and life cycle documentation.

• Oversee the full lifecycle of equipment, ensuring readiness and compliance for operational use.

• Install and qualify laboratory equipment such as refrigerators, parts washers, autoclaves, incubators, and other laboratory systems.

• Collaborate with multiple disciplines, ensuring clear communication and alignment throughout the equipment installation process.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in capital project equipment delivery.

• Experience with validation processes is a strong plus.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Strong organizational and coordination abilities, with attention to detail.
