Summary: Responsible for the preventative and corrective maintenance of heavy industrial equipment to minimize downtime in a high-volume recycling plant.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preventative Maintenance (PM): Execute routine inspections, lubrication, and filter changes on large hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Emergency Repairs: Rapidly troubleshoot and repair equipment failures, such as jammed shredders or broken conveyor belts, to maintain material flow.
- Component Replacement: Regularly replace high-wear parts like shredder hammers, cutting blades for hydraulic shears, and motor bearings.
- System Diagnostics: Use PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) and electrical testing to diagnose faults in automated sorting machines.
- Safety Compliance: Strictly adhere to Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and other health and safety regulations to manage high-risk mechanical hazards.
Qualifications:
- 3–5 years of experience in heavy industrial or mobile equipment maintenance.
- Trade certification or vocational training in mechanical/hydraulic systems.
- Proficiency in welding, fabrication, and using heavy-duty power tools.
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in challenging outdoor or industrial environments
Pay: QAR2,000.00 - QAR2,500.00 per month
