Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Process/Equipment Engineer to join our innovative manufacturing team. In this role, you will be instrumental in optimizing production processes, enhancing efficiency, and ensuring the highest quality standards across our manufacturing facilities. Duties

  • Develop, analyze, and refine manufacturing processes to improve productivity, quality, and safety across various production lines.
  • Utilize CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and Creo to design process layouts, tooling, fixtures, and schematics that support efficient manufacturing workflows.
  • Implement and program industrial equipment including CNC machines, robotics, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and vision inspection systems to automate processes and enhance precision.
  • Conduct root cause analysis on process deviations or failures to identify underlying issues and implement corrective actions that prevent recurrence.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on project scheduling, resource planning, and process validation to meet production milestones and quality standards.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives using lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste, optimize cycle times, and improve overall operational efficiency.
  • Prepare detailed documentation including schematics, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), and CAM programming for fabrication and assembly processes.
  • Support factory experience by integrating industrial engineering best practices into daily operations while ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 standards.

Skills

  • Strong mechanical knowledge combined with expertise in plastics injection molding, fabrication, welding, and tooling design.
  • Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Creo, and CAM programming tools for process simulation and design validation.
  • Hands-on experience with CNC programming, robot programming, vision inspection systems, and industrial equipment automation.
  • Knowledge of Schematics creation, GD&T principles, industrial schematics interpretation, and schematic documentation standards.
  • Familiarity with project scheduling tools to manage multiple projects efficiently within a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to perform root cause analysis using structured problem-solving methodologies to resolve complex process issues effectively.
  • Understanding of lean manufacturing concepts and continuous improvement strategies to optimize workflows across assembly lines and manufacturing facilities.
  • Mechanical engineering background with experience in factory settings involving industrial equipment maintenance or process optimization.
  • Knowledge of industrial engineering principles applied within manufacturing environments focused on improving efficiency and reducing waste.
  • Experience with robotics integration in manufacturing processes along with CNC programming skills for precise component fabrication.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 quality management standards ensuring compliance across all operational procedures. Pay: $85,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
