Equipment & Services Project Engineer

• Costing and estimating, compiling manufacture and installation programs, method statements, risk assessments, lifting plans and work packs in a timely manner for job execution.
• Working closely with the sales and applications team when bidding for projects
• Control multiple projects simultaneously
• Attended client meetings to ensure the installation, co-ordination and planning of the work is in line with the client’s expectations.
• Ensure AAF site safety procedures and environmental codes of practice are enforced throughout installation activities.
• Develops and determines priorities and monitors status of special projects on an ongoing basis.
• Acts as liaison between customers and other departments.
• Maintains scheduling and cost requirements.
• Prepares status reports to update and inform others of all project activities.
• Prepares project summary report upon completion of project.
• Creates invoices etc.
• Assists in resolving receivables issues.
• Completion of project execution documents for all assigned projects.
• Onsite supervision experience of GT auxiliary equipment erection and modification.
• Assess the labour and equipment requirements for each project and submit price analysis.
• Provide technical instruction to field service representatives regarding the installation, operation, commissioning repair and maintenance of equipment at customer installations.
• Actively lead, supported and managed sub-contract labour to ensure timely execution of the installation project and ensure all site safety procedures were adhered to
• Monitor health and safety documentation and complete safety inspections
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the same profile
