Equipment Technician
Position Summary
The Commercial Cleaning Equipment Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining commercial cleaning equipment such as auto scrubbers, vacuums, burnishers, and extractors. This role will primarily operate in the Dallas area, with travel throughout DFW and occasional trips to Oklahoma as needed.
Manufacturer-provided training will be offered. In addition to repairs, this position will support operations by delivering repaired equipment to job sites and assisting with equipment and supply distribution.
Key Responsibilities - Equipment Repair & Maintenance

Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues on commercial cleaning equipment

Repair and maintain auto scrubbers, vacuums, burnishers, extractors, and related equipment

Perform preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and extend equipment life

Test equipment after repairs to ensure proper operation
Training & Compliance
- Complete manufacturer-provided training for assigned equipment
- Follow manufacturer guidelines, safety standards, and warranty requirements
- Maintain accurate repair records and service documentation
Equipment Delivery & Logistics

Deliver repaired equipment to job sites in a timely manner

Pick up malfunctioning equipment from customer locations

Assist with delivery of equipment, parts, and cleaning supplies as needed
Communication & Reporting

Communicate repair status and timelines with Operations leadership

Identify recurring equipment issues and recommend solutions

Maintain service logs and parts usage records
Safety & Vehicle Use

Safely operate company vehicles and tools

Follow all company safety policies and procedures

Maintain a clean and organized work area and service vehicle
Required Skills and Abilities

Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills

Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record

Ability to lift and transport equipment up to 75 lbs

Willingness to travel throughout DFW and occasionally to Oklahoma
Education and Experience
- Experience repairing commercial or industrial cleaning equipment
- Basic electrical and mechanical repair knowledge
- Familiarity with battery-powered equipment
Physical Requirements
- Field-based position working at job sites and service locations
- Ability to stand, bend, lift, push, and pull equipment regularly
- Flexible schedule based on operational needs
