Equity Analyst

We are currently working on a Consumer Investment Analyst opportunity with a leading multi-manager hedge fund platform seeking to hire a junior analyst directly onto an established investment team.

This is an ideal seat for someone coming from a long-only shop or Equity Research who wants to transition into a L/S seat in a highly mentorship-oriented environment.

The role:

• Direct exposure to a seasoned PM and investment team
• Fundamental equity research across Consumer-related sectors
• Heavy modeling, channel work, earnings analysis, and idea generation
• Opportunity to learn the full investing process from the ground up
• Small team environment with strong visibility and responsibility early on

The ideal background:

• 1-4 years of Equity Research or buy-side Long-only experience
• Consumer sector experience preferred, but open to strong generalist athletes
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skillset
• High intensity / strong work ethic
• Genuine interest in public markets and investing
• Must be willing to relocate to or be based in Northbrook/Chicago area
