Equity Operations Analyst – Hedge Fund (Miami)

About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Equity Operations Analyst to join our growing hedge fund team. This role provides hands-on exposure to the full trade lifecycle for equities , supporting traders and portfolio managers while ensuring accurate, timely operational execution. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to broaden their market experience and take ownership of key middle-office processes.

What You’ll Do:

• Support trade capture, allocation, and confirmation of equity trades.
• Reconcile daily trades, positions, and cash , identifying and resolving discrepancies.
• Assist with settlements, trade breaks, and operational reporting .
• Generate P&L, margin, and liquidity reports to provide insights to traders and PMs.
• Partner with internal teams to streamline workflows, improve reporting, and implement automation .
• Support prime brokerage and DVP account management .
• Contribute to regulatory reporting and compliance initiatives as required.

Qualifications:

• 2–4 years of experience in equity operations, middle office, or investment operations .
• Strong Excel skills (PivotTables, INDEX/MATCH, XLOOKUP, and/or VBA).
• Familiarity with equity trading platforms and market data tools (Bloomberg, LSEG, or similar).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills .
• Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment .
