ER Head Nurse

Responsibilities: -

• Participating in the orientation of new unit staff.
• Assessing staff learning needs and planning ongoing evaluations in collaboration with the education department.
• Ensuring hospital policies and procedures are up to date and adhered to.
• Organizing the flow of staff and visitors in the triage area.
• Coordinating and monitoring the triage process in the emergency room based on the severity of the illness or injury.
• Ensuring that all examination rooms are clean and ready to receive patients
• Receiving and following up on all patient-related tests, procedures, laboratory analyses, and required examinations to ensure high-quality patient care and service efficiency.
• Ensuring the crash cart is checked during every shift.
• Coordinating patient admissions and transfers within and outside the emergency room, ensuring continuity of care

Requirements: -

• Nursing bachelor’s degree, Valid profession practicing license.
• 3 years of experience as charge nurse or Head Nurse.
