Nauru Medical Centre is a leading healthcare facility committed to delivering quality medical services to the people of Nauru. We are expanding our team and seeking an experienced ER Specialist to join us in providing urgent and emergency care.

Role Overview:
The ER Specialist will be responsible for delivering immediate and comprehensive emergency medical care to patients. The role requires a highly skilled professional who can make critical decisions in high-pressure situations while ensuring compassionate patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide emergency diagnosis, treatment, and stabilization of patients.
• Manage trauma, acute medical conditions, and life-threatening emergencies.
• Supervise and guide nurses and junior staff in emergency procedures.
• Collaborate with other medical professionals for patient referrals and follow-ups.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with medical protocols.
• Participate in training, drills, and community health initiatives when required.

Requirements:

• Medical Degree (MBBS or equivalent) with specialization in Emergency Medicine.
• Valid license to practice as an ER Specialist (international qualifications accepted).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in an emergency/trauma setting.
• Strong decision-making and leadership skills.
• Excellent communication and adaptability in multicultural environments.
• Willingness to relocate and work in Nauru.
