Job Title: Ergonomics Engineer / Ergonomics Specialist

Job Summary
We are seeking an Ergonomics Engineer / Ergonomics Specialist to evaluate and improve workplace ergonomics within manufacturing and assembly environments. The ideal candidate will identify ergonomic risks, implement workstation improvements, enhance employee safety, and support productivity initiatives through data-driven ergonomic solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Ergonomic Assessment & Risk Analysis
- Conduct ergonomic assessments for assembly workstations, manufacturing processes, and material handling operations
- Perform risk assessments using industry-standard tools such as RULA, REBA, and NIOSH
- Analyze operator posture, force requirements, repetition rates, and task frequency
- Identify musculoskeletal disorder (MSD) risks and unsafe work practices
- Evaluate workstation layouts, tooling, equipment, and work cell designs
- Conduct workplace evaluations to identify hazards and improvement opportunities
- Ergonomic Improvement & Process Optimization
- Recommend and implement ergonomic improvements including:

Preferred Qualifications
- Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate ergonomics into product design and manufacturing processes
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, and productivity
- Support process optimization and operational efficiency improvements
- Work closely with Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Safety, and EHS teams
- Support ergonomic considerations throughout production and operational activities
- Participate in workplace safety and health improvement programs
- Ensure compliance with ergonomic standards and occupational health & safety regulations
- Develop and maintain ergonomic assessment reports, risk registers, and mitigation plans
- Document findings, recommendations, corrective actions, and implementation results
- Monitor and track the effectiveness of ergonomic interventions
- Conduct training programs on ergonomic best practices and safe work methods
- Coach operators and supervisors on:

- Analyze ergonomic and operational data to support decision-making

Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree in Ergonomics, Industrial Engineering, Occupational Health, Human Factors, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
- Experience in Manufacturing, Automotive, Industrial, or Assembly Environments
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement Practices
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
Pay: $35.00 per hour
