ERP Implementation Consultant Training

Overview
We are seeking an experienced Training Lead to own the end-to-end training workstream on a large-scale ERP implementation. This is a senior, hands-on role where you will drive the full training lifecycle from strategy development through post go-live support. You will work directly with our OCM team and the client's implementation partner, with real ownership and visibility into the program.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct a Training Needs Analysis (TNA) including role mapping, current-state skills assessment, and gap analysis grounded in confirmed D365 security roles
  • Develop the Training Strategy defining modality (ILT, virtual, eLearning, job aids), sequencing, and scheduling by audience segment
  • Build and maintain the curriculum framework, course catalog, and all role-based training materials aligned to future-state business processes and system transactions
  • Coordinate sandbox/training environment readiness with the system integrator and functional leads
  • Manage the training delivery schedule, attendance tracking, and completion reporting across all impacted populations
  • Design and administer knowledge checks, pre/post assessments, and readiness scorecards by role and function
  • Develop the go-live support plan (floor walkers, help desk integration, escalation paths) and post-go-live hypercare and sustainment approach
  • Produce a Training Effectiveness Report measuring business adoption outcomes, not just completion rates

Experience

  • Minimum 3 full-cycle ERP implementations where you owned or led the training workstream from strategy through delivery
  • 5+ years of experience leading training on large-scale ERP implementations (D365, SAP, Oracle, or equivalent)
  • Demonstrated experience with Training Needs Analysis methodology, role-to-transaction mapping, and curriculum design
  • Strong understanding of ERP security roles and how they inform training design
  • Proficiency with LMS platforms, eLearning authoring tools, and training environment coordination
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with experience partnering across OCM, functional, and technical workstreams
  • Experience supporting go-live readiness, hypercare, and post-go-live sustainment
  • Demonstrated experience building training programs from the ground up on enterprise technology implementations
  • Strong content development skills across multiple delivery formats (ILT, eLearning, video, job aids)
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple stakeholders, and deliver on aggressive timelines
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills

PREFERRED

  • PROSCI or equivalent change management certification
  • Prior experience on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Supply Chain implementations
  • Experience in energy, manufacturing, or industrial sectors

Pay: $85.00 - $100.00 per hour

Experience:

  • Big 4 Consulting: 3 years (Preferred)
  • ERP Training: 5 years (Preferred)
  • Organizational Change Management: 5 years (Preferred)

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Houston, TX 77053
