About the Company

Lyter is on a mission to bring the future of electric-based technologies to the world. We combine the agility of a startup with the precision of an experienced manufacturer, focusing on a relentless pursuit of perfection in everything from simple home solutions to complex industrial tech. With an expansive pan-India presence and a dedicated design/engineering team, we leverage our state-of-the-art facilities to provide customers with the finest in electrical innovation. Join us as we advance electrical innovation and re-define the bar in quality with a rigorous focus on customer experience.

The Role’s Mission

As our ERP Master Data Specialist, you will be the architect and gatekeeper of our data integrity. You won’t just be "entering data"; you will be designing the workflows that ensure our ERP system remains a reliable engine for our Pan-India operations. In a fast-paced electrical brand with thousands of SKUs, your work is the "source of truth"—if your data is clean, our supply chain is unstoppable. If it’s messy, everything slows down. Your mission is to eliminate data silos and ensure every SKU and BOM is 100% accurate and actionable.

The Role:

We use a specialized third-party ERP, and we need an expert to come in and treat it like a world-class system. You’ll bring the discipline and best practices of major ERP environments (like SAP or Oracle) and apply them with the agility and speed of a startup environment.

Key Outcomes (First 6 Months)

  • Audit & Cleanse: Perform a comprehensive "health check" of current data sets and lead the clean-up of legacy inconsistencies in our electrical component database.
  • Standardize the Blueprint: Establish the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for how data is requested and validated, ensuring we scale without "data debt."
  • BOM Structural Integrity: Finalize and verify multi-level Bills of Materials (BOM) for our finished goods to ensure production and costing are flawless.

Key Responsibilities

  • Master Data Ownership: Manage the end-to-back lifecycle of Material, Vendor, and Customer profiles within the ERP.
  • Electrical Items SKU Management: Standardize the nomenclature and technical specs for thousands of sourcing items (components, metallic parts, packaging, semi-finished goods, assembled items, finished goods, etc.).
  • BOM Management: Build and audit complex BOMs, ensuring that every component—from raw materials to packaging—is mapped correctly for our manufacturing units.
  • Process Implementation: Implement "best practice" data governance that prevents duplicates and ensures data is uniform across all Indian regions.
  • System Liaison: Work with our ERP provider to suggest customizations that improve data speed and reporting accuracy.

What You Bring

  • The "Data Mindset": You find satisfaction in a perfectly organized system and have an almost allergic reaction to duplicate entries or inconsistent naming.
  • ERP Versatility: You are an ERP "pro" who understands data logic and hierarchy. You can take your knowledge from any platform and implement it here.
  • Technical Chops: Advanced Excel (Power Query, VLOOKUPs) is a must. You should be comfortable handling bulk data uploads and migrations.
  • Agility & Grit: You thrive in a growth-oriented environment. You are comfortable building the rules as you go, ensuring they are robust enough to handle 10x growth.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Experience: 3+ years of proven ERP management experience (implementing best practices and managing large datasets).
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in a relevant field (Supply Chain, IT, Engineering, or Business).
  • Communication: High proficiency in business environments—strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for cross-functional collaboration.
  • Technical Mastery: High proficiency in Excel (Power Query, VLOOKUPs, etc.) and modern data management tools.
  • Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify bottlenecks and engineer solutions independently.
  • Mindset: A true "go-getter" attitude. We are looking for someone who can perform job duties with excellence without constant supervision and thrives in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
