About Us:
A new product is launching next month. You’ve embedded the NPI timeline into the master schedule, confirmed labor and machine availability, validated material plans with Purchasing in your weekly alignment, and updated BOMs and planning parameters in the item master. As orders arrive, you check design release status, analyze capacity, and issue work orders that feed MRP—keeping ERP transactions precise so inventory and usage are trustworthy. When variances arise, you investigate the root cause and adjust the plan to stay on target.
- Review new orders to confirm labor/machine capacity, materials, and design readiness for promised dates.
- Track production variances and refine the plan for best outcomes.
- Maintain ERP transactional accuracy for inventory and material consumption.
- Conduct deep root-cause analysis on plan deviations; implement improvements that reduce inventory and streamline flow.
- Keep a steady cadence with Operations to align on schedule and performance metrics.
- Issue/manage production work orders that define the plan and support MRP for Purchasing.
- Monitor key metrics: on-time start, on-time completion and delivery, lead-time adherence, aged work orders, labor and material variances—communicate issues and drive closure.
- Produce capacity outlooks leveraging standard hours and demonstrated efficiency; call out heavy loads, NPIs, and material risks.
- Serve as Master Scheduler, partnering weekly with Purchasing to align longer-term demand and raw material supply plans with business needs.
- Integrate NPI timelines into production plans and coordinate across functions for smooth launches.
- Own item master integrity in ERP—ensure accurate attributes, BOMs, and planning parameters; manage lifecycle updates and obsolescence.
- Bachelor’s in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related; or equivalent experience.
- 3–6 years in Supply Chain or Production Planning/Scheduling roles.
- Expertise in end-to-end manufacturing data flow—from design through shipment.
- Strong Excel proficiency and data analysis capability.
- Exposure to Lean and Visual Factory toolsets.
- Lead and contribute effectively within cross-functional teams.
- Operate within standard processes while identifying, driving, and sustaining improvements.
- Analyze deeply, solve problems decisively, and learn quickly.
- Communicate clearly with team members at every level.
- Understand how different business models shape supply chain planning and execution.
- APICS CPIM or CSCP certification.
- Background in regulated, lot-controlled, or clean room environments.
Some work may occur in a clean room; compliance with all cleanroom rules and guidelines is required.
