ERPNext Accounting and Finance Developer

NCRi Solutions is looking for a highly analytical and dedicated ERPNext Accounting and Finance Developer with 2+ years of professional experience to join our technical team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, customizing, and scaling our financial modules within the Frappe framework. A critical focus of this position will be configuring robust ledger systems, automated tax engine logic, and financial integrations compliant with regional fiscal laws and audit standards in Pakistan and the Middle East.

Key Responsibilities

• System Customization: Design, configure, and modify core ERPNext financial modules including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Management, Budgeting, and Cost Centers.
• Module Development: Build custom Doctypes, server-side Python scripts, client-side JavaScript, and complex financial approval workflows (e.g., multi-tier payment authorizations) within the Frappe Framework.
• Localization & Fiscal Compliance: Configure automated regional tax structures, withholding taxes, FBR withholding rules in Pakistan, and multi-currency transactions compliant with Middle East regulations (including VAT systems and electronic invoicing/ZATCA compliance rules).
• Integrations: Seamlessly connect ERPNext Accounting with banking APIs for automated reconciliation, payment gateways, e-commerce platforms, and internal procurement modules.
• Reporting: Create accurate, real-time statutory financial statements, automated bank reconciliation reports, Profit & Loss (P&L) dashboards, Balance Sheets, and custom print formats for tax invoicing.
• Support & Audit Trail Maintenance: Troubleshoot accounting ledger bugs, maintain immutable data integrity, manage complex financial data migrations, and provide technical support to the finance and audit teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience developing with the Frappe Framework and ERPNext architecture.
• Regional Expertise: Preferred experience implementing financial localization for Pakistan (e.g., FBR income and sales tax slabs, provincial sales tax setups) and the Middle East (e.g., GCC VAT rules, corporate tax frameworks).
• Programming: Advanced proficiency in Python, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Git version control.
• Database Management: Deep competency in writing optimized SQL queries and managing complex transactional data structures in MariaDB/MySQL.
• Domain Knowledge: Strong conceptual understanding of double-entry accounting, ledger balances, chart of accounts, currency fluctuations, and localized statutory compliance.
• Communication: Excellent communication skills to effectively translate complex financial accounting standards into robust, functional code.
