Escrow Officer

Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Escrow Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the escrow process for real estate transactions, ensuring that all documents are accurately prepared and funds are properly disbursed. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of financial services and mortgage servicing.

Responsibilities

• Open and manage escrow files, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations
• Prepare CDs, ALTA statements, settlement statements, and closing packages
• Coordinate with lenders, real estate agents, buyers, and sellers throughout the transaction
• Review title commitments and clear title requirements in collaboration with the title department
• Balance files and disburse funds accurately and in a timely manner
• Conduct closings and explain documents to clients
• Record documents and complete post-closing requirements
• Provide outstanding customer service and maintain positive professional relationships with clients and partners

Qualifications

• Experience with escrow, closings, or settlement services
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Active Notary Public certification (or ability to obtain)
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities
• Ability to manage multiple files simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in title/escrow software (e.g., RamQuest, SoftPro, or similar platforms)
• Experience in the real estate or title industry is a plus
• High school diploma or equivalent

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
