Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Escrow Officer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing escrow transactions from opening through closing, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and a seamless experience for all parties involved within a DFPI-regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Open, process, and close escrow files in accordance with company policies and DFPI regulations
• Review purchase agreements and escrow instructions to ensure completeness and accuracy
• Prepare and review escrow documents, including settlement statements and closing disclosures
• Coordinate with buyers, sellers, real estate agents, lenders, and title companies
• Manage timelines and ensure all conditions of escrow are met prior to closing
• Handle funds, disbursements, and wire transfers in compliance with DFPI and industry standards
• Resolve issues and provide proactive communication throughout the transaction process
• Maintain organized and accurate file documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience as an Escrow Officer or Escrow Assistant ready to step up
• Strong knowledge of California escrow procedures and DFPI compliance requirements
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• High attention to detail and strong organizational abilities
• Ability to manage multiple files in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in escrow software and Microsoft Office
• Active experience working within a DFPI-licensed escrow environment preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $71,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
