Estate Planning Attorney – Houston, Texas

Our client, a well-established and forward-thinking law firm in Houston, is seeking a skilled Estate Planning Attorney to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who is passionate about helping families and individuals protect their assets, plan for the future, and navigate complex estate, trust, and probate matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise clients on estate planning strategies, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and advanced directives.
- Draft and review estate planning documents with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Manage client relationships with professionalism, empathy, and strong communication.
- Conduct legal research and remain up-to-date on Texas estate planning and probate laws.
- Collaborate with internal team members to provide seamless, high-quality client service.
- Handle probate, guardianship, and trust administration matters as needed.
Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school.
- Active Texas Bar license in good standing.
- 1–5+ years of estate planning experience (probate or guardianship experience is a plus).
- Strong drafting skills and command of Texas estate planning documents.
- Excellent client-facing communication and ability to explain complex concepts in simple terms.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple matters simultaneously.
Preferred Experience
- Probate litigation or contested matters
- Guardianship experience
- Tax-informed planning or high-net-worth planning is a plus
- Experience with Clio, MyCase, or other legal practice management software

Pay: $110,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
