Experienced Estate Planning and Administration Attorney

DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking a licensed attorney in South Carolina with experience in Estate Planning and Probate Administration. The ideal candidate will demonstrate professionalism, thoroughness , and diligence. Key responsibilities include:

• Direct, hands-on client interaction
• Managing client expectations
• Prepare and draft legal documents on behalf of clients
• Drafting, reviewing and executing documents in a timely manner
• Advising clients on estate planning and estate administration
• Delegating tasks to staff and other attorneys, as necessary
• Ensure compliance with all legal standards, applicable laws, regulations and company policies across areas of organizational responsibility
• Maintaining accurate timekeeping and prompt billing practices

ROLE IN FIRM:

• This position will use the job title “Attorney and Counselor at Law” for correspondence.
• The position is full-time.
• The position reports to the Managing Partner.

COMPENSATION:

$95,000 to $135,000 -- compensation may depend on experience.

EDUCATION and LICENSURE:

• Juris Doctorate
• Licensed in good standing - South Carolina

EXPERIENCE and QUALIFICATIONS:

• More than three (3) years of estate planning and probate administration experience as an attorney is required.
• Licensed to practice law in South Carolina
• Excellent writing and communication skills
• Strong organizational skills with ability to multi-task, prioritize projects and project needs
• Detail-oriented
