TITLE: Esthetician

LOCATION: Cliff Spa at Snowbird

STATUS: Year-Round, Hours vary based on business needs

SCHEDULE: Shifts available Wednesday – Sunday, hours vary between 9:45am-6:30pm

SUMMARY

As an Esthetician at the Cliff Spa you will take the Cliff Spa Salon to the next level by providing outstanding service and treatments to guests. You will perform treatments offered in the Cliff Spa Salon such as manicures, pedicures, facials, etc.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Be dependable, punctual and responsible for individual shifts.
• Work weekends and holidays as required by business levels.
• Have knowledge in all phases of the area you are licensed in.
• Have product knowledge and must be willing to learn about the products and services we offer.
• Upsell by increasing revenue through upselling of retail salon products.
• Perform treatments offered in the Cliff Spa Salon such as manicures, pedicures, facials, etc.
• Assist with monthly salon duties such as conducting inventory, listing retail and back bar items to be ordered according to the budget and actively participating in daily and weekly cleaning duties as assigned.

WHAT YOU NEED TO GET THE JOB DONE

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Utah Cosmetologist License or Esthetician License
• 1-2 years of job-specific work experience with demonstrated competence.
• Salon knowledge and experience. Able to read, write and communicate through speech.
• Must be reliable, mature and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Requires some exercise of judgment within policy guidelines and without supervisory approval.
• Requires some problem solving and initiation of activities within job description and responsibility limitations.
• Requires strong understanding of other Snowbird operations.

WORK SCHEDULE

• Shifts available are Wednesday through Sunday. Hours vary between 9:45am – 6:30pm

WORKING CONDITIONS

• Must be prepared to stay overnight, if necessary, on occasional times of road closures in the winter.
• May experience unusual stress from high business volumes, deadlines, continual work with public, winter conditions, snow night requirements and commuting to/from Snowbird.
• Must be able to lift 35 lbs.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
• Must demonstrate ability to bend, kneel, handle, reach, grasp and perform repetitive motions.
• Direct and continuous contact with guests.
• Direct and continuous contact with co-workers, management, and other departments.
• Must have the ability to interact at any time with guests and other employees in a pleasant manner and maintain good working relationships with others and all departments at Snowbird.
