Position

Job Title: Massage Therapist and Esthetician

Reports To: Spa Management

Job Purpose:

Provides guests with luxury spa treatments, ensures an exceptional level of service and memorable spa experience.

Represents the know-how, attention to detail and elegance of DIOR Spa.

Job responsibilities

Taks and Responsibilities:

• Provides a range of luxury spa treatments to the highest standards in accordance with the spa’s procedures and protocols.
• Provides bespoke recommendations and advice on skincare treatments and products.
• Maintains hygiene and cleanliness of treatment rooms.
• References and abides by the spa’s operating procedures.
• Greets guests and explains the process of the spa experience
• Performs spa treatments
• Reviews and updates guest profile forms and customizes treatments to address guest needs and contraindications
• Ensures treatment rooms are kept clean and orderly
• Cleans and sterilizes tools and equipment
• Possesses thorough knowledge of spa menu and products in order to assist guests by providing information and recommendations on all products and services within the spa.
• Maintains confidentiality and discretion regarding client's information
• Ensures products and supplies are used in proper amounts and adequately stocked.
• Monitors spa equipment and immediately notifies management if there is any maintenance or repair required.
• Ensures back of house areas are well organized at all times.
• Communicates operational needs to management, as well as any occurrences involving staff or clients in the spa that require attention.
• Monitors stock levels, reports any issues to management to ensure there is sufficient stock.
• Conducts all assigned operational and administrative tasks.

Profile

Skills and Competencies:

• Dual license preferred (NYS Esthetics License and NYS Massage Therapy License)
• Three (3) years’ experience working as a massage therapist, esthetician in a luxury establishment or with a luxury skincare brand.
• Excellent knowledge of luxury service standards
• Mastery of facial and massage techniques
• Knowledge of high tech treatment devices is an advantage
• Team player
• Attention to detail
• Confident communicator

Additional information

The selected candidate will be offered a salary within the range of $21-$25 per hour plus bonus eligibility. The salary offered will be dependent upon the candidate’s relevant skills and experience.
