Esthetician Instructor

Job Summary

Duties

• Deliver engaging classroom instruction on esthetic topics such as facials, body waxing, eyelash extensions, makeup application.
• Teach at State board standards, safety application, safety in equipment usage, safety in sanitation and disinfection.
• Develop monthly lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards using milady and school practices.
• Assess student progress through practical demonstrations, written exams, and ongoing feedback to ensure mastery of skills.
• Maintain a positive classroom environment that encourages participation, creativity and professional development.
• Stay current with industry trends continue instructor education.
• Support students in preparing for licensing exams and mentorship and industry insights.
• Support other instructors and apply professionalism and lead by example.

Qualifications

• Previous teaching experience in esthetics with current license or esthetic experience.
• Current License as an Esthetician or
• Proven experiances with waxing, facials, equiptment safety, threading
• Extensive knowledge of anatomy and skin physiology to effectively teach technical procedures.
• Demonstrate experience in teaching or adult education with strong lesson planning skills, communication skills.
• Proficiency in a wide range of esthetic services including eyelash extensions, makeup application, dermabrasion, and waxing, facials.
• Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and motivate students to achieve their full potential.
• Hands-on experience with esthetic techniques, customer service, client consultation, safety and sanitation.
• Strong organizational skills to manage classroom activities and student assessments effectively.
