Overview
Hair Academy II is seeking a dedicated, knowledgeable, and student-centered Esthetics Instructor to join our education team. The ideal candidate is passionate about skincare, facial treatments, makeup, spa services, and teaching future estheticians. This role requires strong technical ability, professionalism, and a genuine desire to mentor and develop students into confident, career-ready professionals.
Key Responsibilities
Instruction & Training
- Deliver clear, high-quality instruction in esthetics, including facial techniques, skincare analysis, waxing, body treatments, makeup artistry, lashes/brows, and product knowledge.
- Demonstrate proper techniques while supervising student practice on live models and mannequins.
- Follow Hair Academy II’s curriculum and ensure all training meets state board requirements.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and professional classroom and clinic environment.
Student Development
- Provide consistent feedback, encouragement, and coaching to help students grow in skill and confidence.
- Evaluate student performance through practical assessments, written exams, and progress reviews.
- Promote professionalism, strong customer service, proper sanitation, and positive work habits.
- Prepare students thoroughly for state board practical and written licensing exams.
Classroom Management & Compliance
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and student documentation.
- Adhere to all school policies, sanitation guidelines, and state regulatory standards.
- Participate in team meetings, instructor trainings, and professional development to stay current on trends and techniques.
School Support
- Assist with orientations, open houses, recruitment events, and school-wide activities as needed.
- Support Hair Academy II’s mission, values, and high educational standards.
- Collaborate with fellow instructors and administrative staff to improve curriculum and enhance student learning.
Qualifications
- Valid Esthetics License
- Minimum 2–5 years of professional experience in esthetics or spa services preferred.
- Prior teaching or training experience is helpful but not required if technical skills and communication are strong.
- Expertise in skincare, facials, waxing, makeup, and spa treatments.
- Strong communication skills, leadership ability, and a passion for mentoring.
- Commitment to student success and professional growth.
Work Environment

- Combination of theory instruction, demonstrations, and hands-on clinic supervision.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform/teach services as needed.
