Estimating and Pricing Manager

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for construction projects
• Analyze blueprints, specifications, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates
• Conduct site visits to gather information on access, logistics, and existing conditions
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure estimates are comprehensive
• Evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes for accuracy and competitiveness
• Develop and maintain a database of historical cost data
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and value engineering alternatives
• Present estimates and cost plans to clients and stakeholders
• Monitor project budgets and provide updates as needed
• Assist in bid preparation and proposal development
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
• Support project managers during the construction phase with cost-related issues

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in construction estimating
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations
• Proficiency in estimating software such as Bluebeam, PlanSwift, or similar
• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
• Experience with both residential and commercial construction projects
• Knowledge of local building codes and permitting processes

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to AED30,000.00 per month
