Estimating Engineer - Fitout & Joinery

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Review tender drawings, specifications, BOQs, and contract documents.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates for fit-out works
• Perform quantity take-offs for joinery, ceilings, partitions, flooring, finishes, and accessories.
• Request, evaluate, and compare supplier and subcontractor quotations.
• Analyze material specifications and propose cost-effective alternatives without affecting quality.
• Prepare pricing breakdowns, cost summaries, and tender submissions.
• Coordinate with design, project, and procurement teams to clarify scope and pricing assumptions.
• Identify scope gaps, exclusions, and risks and highlight them in the tender.
• Assist in value engineering and cost optimization exercises.
• Support contract negotiations and post-tender clarifications.
• Update cost databases and maintain historical cost records.
• Prepare variation pricing and support commercial evaluations during execution.
• Ensure estimates comply with project specifications, standards, and timelines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: QAR7,500.00 - QAR8,500.00 per month

Experience:

• Estimation: 2 years (Required)

Language:

• Arabic (Preferred)
