Estimation & Costing Engineer

Job Summary:-

We are looking for a technically strong Estimation & Tendering Costing Engineer to handle design, estimation, and costing of LT/HT panels. The candidate should have hands-on experience in electrical panel design, costing, and tendering processes.

Key Responsibilities:-

• Prepare estimation & costing for HT/LT panels
• Study and analyze tender documents, specifications, and drawings
• Prepare BOQ, technical proposals, and quotations
• Handle client interactions and technical discussions
• Conduct technical meetings and support design team
• Ensure compliance with IS / IEC standards
• Coordinate with internal teams for design and costing accuracy
• Assist in production selection and pricing
• Technical Requirements
• Strong knowledge of HT/LT switchgear panels
• Experience in GA drawings and panel design

Knowledge of:

• Busbar selection and sizing
• usbar support & short circuit calculations
• Temperature rise and current density calculations
• Control wiring and schematics
• Protection relay selection
• Transformer (CT/PT) selection
• Understanding of fault level calculations and protection systems
• Knowledge of IS 8623, IEC 61439, IEC 62271 standards
• Familiar with Form 1 to Form 4 panel designs

Additional Skills:-

• Knowledge of sheet metal and enclosure design
• Experience in costing of cubicles, busbar, wiring, relays, meters, CTs
• Ability to make GA drawings and costing sheets
• Good understanding of product selection (ABB, L&T, Schneider, GE, Siemens, etc.)
• Proficiency in MS Excel and email communication
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
