Estimation Engineer

Estimators are responsible for preparing cost estimates for landscape projects by analyzing tender documents, proposals, and other documentation.

Estimation

§ Identify the bid requirement both technical and commercial to prepare a compliant bid.

§ Conduct site visit when required and consider any cost to be added to the tender. Understand the program of work and its requirements.

§ Prepare and submit a request for information to the client / consultant to clarify any discrepancies.

§ Identify labour, material, and time requirements by studying proposals, drawings, specifications, and related documents.

§ Delegate draftsmen for quantity take off to cross-check the BOQ quantities and schedules.

§ Prepare and combine the cost estimate. Ensure the full scope is covered or proper qualification is included.

§ Attend pre / post tender meeting and capable to prepare a VE bid.

§ Perform all other duties as assigned by the Estimation Manager.
