Estimation Engineer

Job Title: Estimation Engineer – Project Joinery

Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Estimation Engineer to join our Project Joinery company. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, analyzing tender documents, and supporting the technical and commercial teams during the bidding process.

Key Responsibilities:

Study and analyze architectural drawings, BOQs, and tender documents for joinery works.

Prepare detailed cost estimates, including material, labor, equipment, and subcontractor pricing.

Coordinate with the Design, Production, and Procurement teams to gather required data for estimation.

Request quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.

Attend site visits and conduct project-specific take-offs as required.

Ensure estimation submissions are accurate, timely, and in line with project requirements.

Support in preparing technical and commercial proposals for bidding.

Communicate with consultants, contractors, and internal departments to clarify project scope.

Maintain a record of historical data and continuously update the costing database.

Requirements & Qualifications:

Minimum 3 years of experience in joinery estimation or interior fit-out projects

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field

Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and estimation software (e.g., CCS Candy, Planswift)

Good knowledge of materials, market prices, and construction processes related to joinery

Strong numerical and analytical skills

Excellent time management and multitasking ability

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Able to handle pressure and work to deadlines

Willing to visit sites when required
