Estimation Engineer

Job Description:

We are looking for an Estimation Engineer with experience in Fire Alarm and Fire Fighting Trading to join our trading company in Dubai. The candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate quotations, coordinating with suppliers, and supporting the sales team in tender submissions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare cost estimates for fire alarm and fire-fighting systems including pipes, fittings, pumps, sprinklers, extinguishers, alarms, and related materials.
• Review project drawings, BOQs, specifications, and customer requirements to determine accurate quantities and pricing.
• Obtain competitive price quotations from suppliers and evaluate offers for final costing.
• Prepare technical and commercial proposals in line with UAE Civil Defense and NFPA standards.
• Coordinate with the sales team for pricing support, technical clarifications, and tender submissions.
• Maintain updated records of quotations, supplier price lists, and project history.
• Ensure competitive pricing while maintaining company profit margins.

Requirements:

• Qualification: BE/B.Tech in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in estimation for fire alarm or fire-fighting systems or related products(UAE market experience preferred). Freshers can also apply.
• Basic knowledge of NFPA codes and UAE Civil Defense requirements is an advantage.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word).
• Strong communication, coordination, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED3,500.00 per month
