Estimation Engineer

Estimation Engineer his role to includes analyzing drawings, specifications, and technical documents to assess materials, labor, equipment, subcontractor services, and other direct or indirect project costs.

Estimation Engineer is preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for steel or PEB projects.

Estimation Engineer works closely with engineering, procurement, and project management teams to develop precise budgets and submit winning proposals that align with client expectations and company profitability targets.

Responsibilities

• Review tender documents, including drawings, specifications, and bills of quantities, to determine project scope and estimation requirements.
• Perform detailed quantity take-offs for structural and architectural (as applicable), using drawings and technical specifications.
• Prepare accurate cost estimates, covering materials, labor, equipment, subcontractor services and overheads expenses .

Qualifications

• BSc in Civil Engineering.
• Years of Experience in same field (2-6).
• Excellent communication and organizational skills to manage tasks and collaborate effectively.
• Very good in estimation software and tools (MS Excel ,Tekla ,SAP , STAAD , ETABS)
• Familiar with international standards and codes ( AISC, BS, ASTM , EURO , ASCE7, MBMA).
